Who Should Attend

Do you work with children and young people in an emergency care setting? Then this conference is for you!
We aim to cover topics that are educational, interesting and relevant to health care professionals who care for children including: Doctors, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and other allied health professionals. Last year we were really pleased that some Paramedic colleagues joined us and hope they will do so again. It is also an opportunity to network with like minded people and share good practice.

Introduction by Dr Gillian Davidson, NPEM Chair.

In 2008 a small group of newly qualified PEM consultants had an idea about organising a conference about Paediatric Emergency Medicine for all healthcare staff in the North East interested in emergencies in children.
Now in 2018 this will be our 10th NPEM conference which for a small group is a great achievement. This year we have a fantastic venue, great speakers, the interactive ED waiting room and a new interactive session; a group simulation. To round it all off we are having a social event after the conference to celebrate. I am looking forward to seeing previous and new delegates.
Hope to see you there!
